Rumors are abound on the internet tonight as it appears the Bristol might have gone under the knife after appearing to have lost a lot of weight (see below). Bristol appeared at the Candie’s Foundation benefit Gala in New York looking very different to her usual self, with a more chiseled look. In many ways, she is almost unrecognizable without the rounded face that we are used to.
Initially we thought that perhaps she had just lost weight rather than getting plastic surgery. After looking at the photos more closely, however, it is quite clear that she went for some kind of operation rather than just going on a diet. This is because the rest of her body hasn’t really changed shape, and if she had gone on a weight loss regime then she would have lost weight all over.
In many ways, it doesn’t really matter if she did have a facelift or if she did lose some weight. At the end of the day, millions of people undergo cosmetic surgery of one form or another and she is an adult entitled to make her choice. It appears that Bristol Palin is diverging on the political views of her mother, former Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, as she is in favor of gay marriage. Her mother is an outspoken critic and there are even some rumors that she is no longer allowed in the house.
According to a source at the National Enquirer, Sarah tried to prevent Bristol from going public with her views but Bristol decided that she was a grown woman and wouldn’t be controlled by her mother anymore. Sounds like a conventional mother/daughter spat which has obvious political consequences in this case.
There are even rumors that Bristol’s time on Dancing with the Stars changed her views on the matter, although this is obviously unconfirmed. Hopefully we’ll be able to bring you more information soon, especially if Bristol decides to go public with her views.
Fans of Bristol Palin have been rocked after it was revealed that she was paid 262,500 in 2009 for campaigning against teen pregnancy. Tax receipts reveal that she was paid by the Candie’s Foundation, one of the leading abstinence charities in the United States.
In a statement, the charity said: “We know that Ms. Palin’s work has had a positive effect on creating awareness about teen pregnancy”
However, some have come to her defence, and E! Online states: “The money she received was from multiple projects she did with them. She shot PSAs, print and Internet ads and did town hall meetings, as well, and the money she made was an accumulation of all of that. This is not out of the ordinary for a celebrity to make an income off of a charity they represent.”

Giacinto “Gino” Paoletti is the new boyfriend of Bristol Palin. Not only are they former classmates, but Gino is the ex of Levi Johnston’s sister. Levi Johnston and Bristol had a child together and this does make one wonder whether or not Bristol is just dating her to be jealous.
Mercede, the Gino’s ex, warns Bristol however: “I got to know the real Gino, and that wasn’t pleasant”. Bristol had something else to say about her new lover though, telling E, “”He’s a good guy, He’s a family guy. He’s a Christian. We have all the same religious beliefs and our families both come first in our lives”.
Giacinto works as an outdoor labourer and apparently has a number of controversial comments on his facebook profile including laughing at having sex with overweight disabled women.
Bristol Palin has just announced that she will be writing a book about her private life. Although it seems like she might be a bit young to be writing a memoirs, the huge publicity which this girl receives has obviously made publishers take note. William Morrow, a subsidiary of HarperCollins will be publishing the book which is called ‘Not Afraid of Life’. In it, she is expected to talk about her relationship with Levi Johnston and her appearance on Dancing with the Stars.
“Plainspoken and disarmingly down to earth, Bristol offers new insight and understanding of who she is and what she values most” said the statement from the publisher.
Tom Bergeron, the host of Dancing with the Stars, has commented on Bristol’s performance thus far in the series:
“The complaining amuses me to no end,” Bergeron says. “Whenever someone says that Bristol shouldn’t be there to me, I almost inevitably say, ‘Of course, you’re voting for…?’ And they go, ‘Yeah, I didn’t vote.’ I have no sympathy for people who are kvetching about — and this is from a gentile — who’s still there and who’s gone.
“She’s not the strongest dancer, obviously,” he says. “But she … represents what I think is the best of our show, somebody who comes Day 1 and is completely out of their element and has shown a clear growth as a dancer. And she clearly has a massive or sufficient amount of viewer support to keep her in despite low scores.”
“Is it political? I don’t know, But that just speaks to the importance of voting.”
A letter which had a white substance in it was identified yesterday as talcum powder after a security scare in which the fire department was called and the mail room evacuated. The letter was addressed to Bristol Palin and it has been confirmed that the FBI is taking part in the investigation to find out who is responsible.
The threat didn’t seem to affect Bristol, however, who was back to rehearsals today for tonight’s Dancing with the Stars final. Palin has thanked her supporters on facebook for their support over the last few weeks, appearing unaffected by the letter.
Bristol has now had the lowest score for three weeks in a row but is still set to go through to the next round! In a shock result, favorite Brandy Norwood was eliminated and Bristol will proceed in her place to the finals. 17.2 million people watched the show, making it the second most watched show that night. Looks like Bristol is still drawing in the crowds! Congratulations!
Bristol Palin, the underdog at this year’s Dancing with the stars, has made it to the final five! At the start of the competition she was an outsider and was not expected to get this far. Despite this, she has stunned audiences and judges every week and has remained a part of the show!
She was last on the leaderboard with 18 points this week but still made it through. The difference between the judges and the public is quite striking. There are two options; either the judges or the public has it totally wrong! Whatever the case, we applaud Bristol for getting out there every week and giving it her best in the face of tough odds.
Despite being the daughter of one of the most famous people on the political stage and arguably only famous because of her Republican mother, Bristol forgot to mail in her ballot in the mid term elections!
Bristol said:
“I did not send in my absentee ballot in Alaska. I’m going to be in trouble. Sorry, Mom!”
