Bristol Sheeran Marie Palin was born on October 18, 1990 and is the eldest daughter and second child of Todd and Sarah Palin. She was born and raised in Wasilla, Alaska, and named after the ‘Bristol Inn’, a place where her mother used to work as well as ‘Bristol Bay’, where her father grew up. She went to school in Anchorage and met Levi Johnston, who she had a child with. The child was born Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston on December 27, 2008.
Bristol Palin is perhaps best known by her mother, Sarah Palin. Once upon a time she was just the daughter of the governor of Alaska and now she has become a national celebrity. Bristol came into the national spotlight when Sarah Palin was running for vice president and there were a number of scandals surrounding the fact that Bristol was pregnant to Levi Johnston, a self-proclaimed redneck at just aged 19.
Ever since she became pregnant, Bristol has worked to advocate abstinence only relationships among teenagers and says that she regrets the mistakes she made.
I admire your courage in speaking out against teen pregnancy. I’m sure that’s hard in this day and age. I enjoy watching you and Mark on DWTS . Your the only one I really care to see. The others are OK, but I can relate to no dancing experience and an entirely different environment, completely out of your realm and your doing good. I can see improvement every week. Good for you. You can only get better in life and achieve the impossible.
Hi,
My name is Adam Littman. I am working with the team at TLC on the digital/social promotion and engagement efforts around a new show, Sarah Palin’s Alaska, which premieres on November 14th. We are hosting an ‘open house’ next week in New York to introduce some of our plans and provide a sneak peek at the show.
Event: A Tour of Sarah Palin’s Alaska
Date/Time: Thursday, November 4th, 6:30pm – 9:00pm
Location:
Samsung Experience
10 Columbus Circle, 3rd Floor (Time Warner Center)
New York, NY 10019
Here is a little background on the show and the event:
About the show: Sarah Palin’s Alaska is a new documentary series that takes viewers
into the country’s ‘final frontier’ through the eyes of one of its most famous citizens
– Sarah Palin. In each episode, various family members join Sarah as she shares the
state she knows and loves – from salmon fishing in Bristol Bay to hiking along one of our country’s most breathtaking glaciers. Along with Alaska’s great wilderness, the Palin’s encounter Alaska’s fascinating residents and share what it takes to thrive in the country’s largest state. The 8-part television event is produced by Mark Burnett Productions and is scheduled to premiere November 14, 2010 on TLC.
About the social/digital plan: TLC has launched five channels of conversation to
promote and support engagement around the show, including four dedicated blogs
(focused on culture, politics, media and behind the scenes) and a twice-weekly podcast show. We will also be hosting regular conference calls and briefing events, supporting watch parties and more. The channels will serve as an integrated part of the overall marketing and promotion of Sarah Palin’s Alaska and a complement to the show-related information that is available on TLC.com and the networks’ various social media outlets.
About the Open House: TLC, and the team behind http://www.SPAlaska.com, are hosting
an ‘Open House’ event for bloggers, online media and digital influentials to help formally launch the digital/social outreach and engagement effort around Sarah Palin’s Alaska. The event provides a special opportunity to learn a bit more about the show, ask questions, and see some more exclusive clips.
I hope you are available to attend the event. Please let me know if you have any
questions or need any additional information… and you can RSVP to me, or by emailing RSVP@SPAlaska.com.
I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
You go girl! You have made mistakes, but so has everyone! Yours just got played out in public. You have shown such strength in handling it so openly and I would be so proud of you if you were my daughter. I admire your mother, and I admire the way she has raised her children. Dance to the rhythm of your dreams!
Bristol went to school in Wasilla not anchorage!
Bristol
I have watched DWT Stars for a long time and I am one who is pleased that you have made it to finals. You started out with no musical or dancing background and you have done great. That is what the DWT Stars started out being, unfortunately they have become more interested in the ratings than showing that even someone “normal” can learn to dance. Keep up the good work.
Bristol, you are one of the most courageous young girls I have seen in a long while. You stand strong and proud in spite of all those who would speak against you and I know that it is your mother and God from where that strength comes. Keep your head high, Bristol, for God has good things in store for you. I see where you have made great strides through Dancing with the Stars, especially since you had no dancing experience. I’ve watched as your confidence has grown and I see the joy shining in your eyes each week. It is obvious that God is with your spirit and that you live for Him and that will take you anywhere you need to go in life. You have my vote and in 2012, your Mother will certainly have my vote for her to serve as President. May God bless you and your entire Family. Barbara Lee Allen, Gates, NC
There is nothing special about a teenager mother, who is riding on her mother coat tail. There are some many single teenager mother out there working there butts off to provide for there child, by going to school working two jobs. I don’t see you people giving them encourgement. But you have Bristol who gets 1 millions for a picture of her baby she had out of wedlock to a high school drop out.. It’s this the country that I live in!!! Her mother quit her job as the governor of Alaska to write a book, and extra work on Fox news, and now her own show.. You pleople are so stupid.. She is getting rich while half American don’t have jobs and losing their home. She probably made about 20 million off you idiots..
This reply is for Monica and Reta Lane: You two women need to get a life, go to church, confess your sins and repent because I’m sure YOUR MOTHER taught you that if you don’t have something nice to say then KEEP YOU MOUTH SHUT. I think you are a pair of jelous democrats who can’t stant for people to make something of themself. Next time before you put another human being down, check your facts; Ms. Bristol Palis DID GRADUATE FROM HIGH SCHOOL, AND HER MOTHER GOV. PALIN DID NOT QUIT HER JOB AS THE GOVERNOR OF ALASKA TO WRITE A BOOK. She left her job when she was running for Vic-President in 2010. You moron!!!!!
hey, maybe you should check your facts ! she didn’t quit being governor to run for vice president, she quit after the election was over, and she lost!! look it up, b*$#@, yeah, that just happened ! !
this two lady”s are real . what are u talking about i think u are jelous .this girls got it going on. yall keep up the good work . yall will be my daugthers role model
Pff.. is this a joke or what? No more free speech without getting a rant back someone who is not happy with herself?
Monica – you sound like your jealous. Your the idiot because you stated things about someone you don’t even know maybe you should check your facts before you start rambling. Kudos to Bristol for having the courage to stand up and speak out about her situation. Also, she was brave enough to try something she has never done in her life like dancing and she got paid. Welcome to the American way. Some people (this how people is spelled) have it and some don’t and evidently Monica and Reta don’t.
What an idiot! I am a 63 year old woman, who made the same mistake (falling for a loser), only 46 years earlier. I did work my butt off to educate myself, work and raise my child but if I had had the chance, hopefully, I would have had the guts to stand up as Bristol has done. Why shouldn’t she raise herself above all the bad mouthing by people like you (who has never done anything stupid, right? Yeah, right!). Get real, you self-righteous moron. Only those without sin have the right to throw stones. No one in this world has that right. Way to go Bristol. Hold your head high!
I can’t believe that people are so sick and stupid to have a Bristol Palin fansite. What are you fans of? Is it being an unwed mother or dropping out of high school?
The big chubbo needs to go home and take care of her baby. It just shows that she cares more about being on tv than being a mother. You don’t leave your child for 5 days if you are a caring mother.
I really don’t see how Bristol’s partner holds that fatty up. Look at those legs, elephant trunks. She looks like she weighs 200lbs.
If you think it is sick and stupid – why did you access it? You are the sick and stupid one for even speaking such nasty things. Get a life Ms. Lane!
Keep up the good work and we are all rooting for you in my family. Sometimes things do a turn around and I think CHANGE is here! Tell mom I am voting for her too! Like the show.
Wonderful job, how is Tripp? I have a son Frank Miko, hes is now 6mo, I raised him mostly, hes my little angel.
CHANGE is here and I’m voting for the Palin family to be in the White House come 2012.
I would love to see Sara Palin become our next president. However, she is too good. America now consist of approximately 62 percent of people that love homo sexuals and killing babies. They would rather have a atheist in the White House then a Christian.IT IS NO LONGER THE AMERICA THAT I GREW UP IN.
BRISTOL YOU HAVE DONE WELL FROM THE START AND WE THINK THAT YOU DESERVE THE CROWN. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND YOU WILL END UP ON TOP ALL THIS TERRIBLE THINGS THAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH IS VERY MUCH UNCALLED FOR..DON’T LET IT GET TO YOU THAT IS WHAT THEY WANT BELIEVE ME YOU ARE ONE BEAUTIFUL PERSON…….GOOD LUCK
I would just like to say to Reta Lane “so what if Bristol is not a size 4? She’s gotten out there despite everyone being against her and danced anyway. There’s no reason to criticize her size. That was a low blow. Why do you hate her so much? She’s a young single mother with no dancing experience who has the courage to go out there every week despite people’s opinions of her. The only reason I can think of is that you liberals are afraid of her popularity because of what she stands for and you’re blaming her when it’s really her mother you hate. You are guilty of what you are accusing conservatives or tea partiers of..which is extremely hypocritical. Practice what you preach.”
you are also an ignorant american, great job thinkin outside the box. keep up the great work
I admire you. I really don’t care if you dance perfect. I think you have a lot of class. Keep your chin up and keep doing what you’re doing. Blessings to you and yours!
i think you ment to say. keep ur CHINS up. plural. if u have seen a recent pic, you will notice, she has multiple chins.
I think Bristol is a very pretty young woman and i like her mother too, but do not agree with their political views. The problem as i see it is that The Tea Party supporters think that Bristol can do no wrong but if any other young woman becomes a teen mom then she’s a sinner. This is a double standerd and is wrong. If you are going to praise Bristol and pay her to talk out against teen pregnancy then you should praise all teen mothers who struggle to stay in school, work, and be mothers. The biggest differance between them is that Bristol comes from a well off family that just happens to be in the spot light. I’m sure that Bristol has worked her pretty little butt off on DWTS but other contestents have scored higher scores so I’m guessing that The Tea Party is hopeing that if Bristol wins DWTS that that will translait into a victory for momma Sarah. I am not going to get into a political debate but let’s just remember that in the parts of the country that are the most conservitive that those are also the areas with the highest rates of teen pregnancy and pornographic usage. So before you cast that first stone and blame someone else of sin make sure your own houses are in order. For what it’s worth Bristol i wish you all the luck in the world and hope you and little Tripp have a wonderful life and that God bestows all the blessings upon you that he sees fit.
Looks like You just cast the first stone!! You are not quite as informed as you would like people to believe. Politics has absolutely NOTHING to do with teen pregnancy. Bristol’s popularity has nothing to do with the Tea Party movement. There are many of us who admire her for having the gumption to stand up and let other people know that the path she chose was not the best and that she has learned a valuable life lesson. Why do so many of you narrow minded people insist on not giving the young woman credit for being able to stand up in the face of adversity and try to do something with her life.
Bristol, I just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful job and the courage that it took for you to do the show. To stand up to all of the negative response to your making it to the finals. You are a winner in my book. God has a special direction for you. Again thank you and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your son. God Be With You!
ya thank you so much for being such a fat pig. but to b honest you prob insired all the fat girls in america that maybe they can one day b where you are. (sarcasm) lets look where she is. no college degree. a baby. no job. overweight. living with her mom, while riding her coattail. ya great fucking job, you have done so much in your life. all the futureless obese girls in america have some they relate to and they can look up too.
Bristol, I voted for you each week. You were consistantly getting better at dancing. Now why I voted other than the dancing, because of your message. If you help just one young woman stop and think. Your son is a gift from God certainly, but you were intended to help. It’s your God gift to work for safe sex or abstinence.
Now lets talk about revenge. Many articles on the internet refer to you as wanting revenge for those that spoke harshly about you and the idiot who thought it was appropriate to send white powder. You don’t need revenge. Your message, Your God gift, was what was supposed to be heard and unfortunately that was sulllied a bit. Revenge is an ugly response and you are not an ugly acting girl.
Go out and tell the world what you want them to hear and be proud that God has given you such a gift and a forum in which to use it.
Blessings
Bristol, My daughter too was a teen mom. She graduated high school at 8 mo. pregnant and has gone on to graduate top 10 of her nurseing school. So keep your chip up and good things will come. I have not been a fan of DWTS but I enjoyed watching you. You weren’t a dancer or star but a girl who wanted to try and did a “great job”. I would like to see you smile more, you have a beautiful smile. And let loose. You have such a serious look all the time. Open your heart and have fun in life. Best of luck to you.
I find you an amazing young person who has the courage to speak out about what you have been through to other young girls about abstinence. I think it is great you tried DWTS even though you had no background in dancing or the entertainment field. You are a very beautiful young woman and don’t let anyone ever tell you any different. Congratulations on what you have accomplished and good luck in all that you do. Forget about all the nasty comments that people make – keep your head up and smile your gorgeous smile.
Bristol,
I admire your strong resolve in using an unfortunate situation for good. It not only encourages others that are in or may be in a similar situation but it also gives glory to God.
I was once in your situation and know it is difficult. The nasty, jealous-based comments about “riding on your Mom’s coat tails” and (honestly) earning money to support you and Tripp are sad. Not for you because you have the strength and faith to rise above the criticism. It is sad that so many people use their hate of their situation to incorrectly direct that anger toward someone that refused to curl up and die.
What you have done on DWTS and in other areas of your life are commendable. I am proud of your strength of character and integrity. We all make mistakes, some are just more telling than others. My husband and I faithfully watched and voted for you on DWTS. You went girl!!!
You were amazing and made us feel good to see someone with no dancing experience learn to really dance, in a matter of weeks! You were incredible! You have much to be proud of and feel good about. You are the Apple of your Father’s eye! Never forget that.
Bristol, I may never get to Alaska, but I will get to Heaven and look forward to meeting you and thousands of other folks I’ve met along my exciting life’s journey.
Proverbs 3:5 & 6
Bristol,
You are an amazing young woman. Stay strong when those push you down. Stand tall and be proud…you come from a wonderful family.
Paula
Bristol, I thought you were so amazing and couragous on DWTS. I voted for you every week from three different phones until I reached my vote limits. I also vote for your Mom. You are both amazingly strong, confident women, and I think it is the countries loss that we don’t have your Mom’s skill and intelligence backing us daily. You’re both the mirror ball winners in my opinion.
britol, wow you are so fat, can you please loose some wieght? please? like honestly sweetheart, here in cali you are considered a fat hippo. everyone hates you and now that your 15 mins is up, have a good life. you are such a hypocryte, “do as i say, not as i do” right? slut. learn to keep ur fat legs closed. The only reason ppl know you is because ur mom, who btw is so f*cking annoying. and now you are killing things on tv, and of coarse all of ignorrant middle america is watching. thats the only reason your shit is still on tv. you are absolutley gross, and i wish you would go back in the hole you crawled out of, slut.
People can be idiots that don’t even know you. Who cares what party you and your family are for. You on dancing with the stars is just for you and no one else I’m glad you went as far as you did. You seem like a person who doesn’t care what idiots say. I’m democrat but that doesn’t mean i hate you. I believe in whats in your heart and it looks good from where I’m at. have better luck in life itself.
Ms Palin,
My wife and I have used you as a role model, both for our daughters and grand-daughters. We wish you well and look forward to hearing good things about you in the years to come.
While I have not been a regular viewer of DWTS I will have to say my 95 yr old father is and you were his favorite. I don’t know how any contestant can endure each week’s routine. Go girl!
Hope your son, Tripp is well and you are able to enjoy each and every day you have with him. Children grow up so fast.
Speaking of Tripp may I introduce you to another Trip? This Trip is a project, a book actually, that I started over three years ago (actually it was in Feb 2008). I would like to offer you a FREE copy of it via PDF format. There is no catch I assure you. The Trip in this story is a 13 year old boy, living in 1926. It would be an honor to forward the book/PDF file to you at an email you suggest.
Again, keep in there with yours and the Lord’s strength.
Respectfully,
Joe Colby
Hang in there girl. Everyone has a right to their opinion. No matter which way anyone wants to see it, the Lord knew how your baby would come into this world and you chose to keep him. Many others would have taken the easy way out. You made the right decision. “Hollywood” is against anyone that doesn’t look, talk, behave, or believe the way they do. So glad you are your own person. Don’t ever change.
